Thursday Night Suppers

Impact.

One of the ways we serve the community is by providing a meal to our clients on Thursday nights. We have church partners who help provide and serve these meals. These range from anything to pasta bakes to pizza to a full thanksgiving meal. It's a time of fellowship, where people are able to come together as a community, eat together, and visit with each other. This occurs during CrossPoint's worship service. People are able to enjoy dinner and experience a faith community through worship at the same time.

History.

Thursday night suppers started out as the Hot Dog Hover. These meals were originally summertime events, where volunteers would serve hot dogs, chips, and cookies. When we moved to our larger facility here in LaGrange, we had enough space to put on these meals every week, regardless of the weather.

Get Involved.

Thursday night suppers are a great opportunity for your church, your small group, your club, or any other organization you’re a part of to get involved and serve your community by providing, preparing, and serving a meal. If you would like to help with Thursday Night Suppers but cannot logistically participate, we welcome your financial support for this part of our ministry.
