Advocate Ministry.

Impact.

Advocates play a significant role in communicating God's love and hope to our clients. They do this through their commitment to regularly being available to pray with clients, talk about struggles, and share the hope of the gospel. Advocates are also a informational resource to clients about other services in the community that may be able to help them. Advocates point clients to programs that can help clients with job skills, healthcare, mental health services, addiction recovery, and other services.

“The Advocacy team at HighPoint has the opportunity to live out HighPoint’s mission of bringing wholeness to the community and sharing the Gospel every single time our doors are open.”

Advocate Leader

Christine has been serving at HighPoint for two years, taking up the role of Advocate Leader in 2019. “…it became clear to me that my educational background, leadership experience with homeless shelters and referral services, as well as my faith in Christ, created a good fit for me to take on the Advocate Leader role.”
